Freshening had the exciting opportunity to be a part of the SembWaste School Recycling League. With our beloved character Zappy leading the charge, we embarked on a mission to share the importance of recycling and going green with four preschools. This journey was filled with laughter, learning, and memorable moments, as Zappy taught the little ones how they, too, could become superheroes for the planet.
We told the story of Zappy & the Secret Box, an enchanting tale that followed Zappy on a quest to find a secret box, which, to his delight, contained green labels. These green labels had the power to cheer up Sunny Earth, who was feeling sad.
The kids were captivated by the story and quickly understood the message—that through recycling and eco-friendly actions, they could help protect and heal the Earth, just like Zappy did.
Adding to the excitement was Zappy himself— our lively mascot who made special appearances at a few of the schools. The children’s faces lit up as they met their recycling hero in person, with cheers and smiles all around. The energy and enthusiasm they showed were truly heartwarming.
It was an incredibly fulfilling and fun experience for us. We look forward to continuing this journey with more schools in 2025, inspiring the next generation to take charge of their environment!
