We were thrilled to be part of this year’s Sustainable Christmas Market, an event that brought together the Singaporean community to celebrate the festive season with a green and giving heart. Set against a vibrant backdrop of over 100 booths, the market buzzed with excitement as shoppers and supporters gathered to embrace sustainability, support local businesses, and donate to meaningful causes. The turnout was incredible, with visitors from all walks of life coming to explore eco-friendly options for holiday shopping.
For us, this event wasn’t just about showcasing our products; it was about giving back. In the spirit of the season, we donated 100% of our proceeds to the Young Hearts Programme by the Singapore Red Cross. This initiative supports children and youth from underprivileged families. Through mentoring, activities, and essential resources, the programme aims to nurture resilience and provide equal opportunities for every child to thrive.
It was humbling to know that every purchase at our booth would go directly toward empowering these young lives. This was a wonderful way to connect with our customers, not just through products but through shared values of compassion and responsibility.
The Sustainable Christmas Market wasn’t only a celebration of environmentally-friendly goods; it was a true reflection of the Singaporean spirit of unity. This was an event for Singapore, by Singapore, with local makers, businesses, and organizations coming together to create a marketplace that prioritized our environment and our community. It was a privilege to be part of this collective effort.
